This Saturday night - January 24, 2009 from 9-12:30 a.m. at Steve's Backstage Pass, Karen will be perorming with her son, Steven Tripp. This duo will be performing a mix of music from oldies to current music. Steve plays electric and acoustic guitar and vocals. Karen will play acoustic guitar, percussion, and vocals. It should be an interesting show!

Karen performed beautifully written, original music, that was heartfelt with a strong story and a real sense of being in touch with what people go through in the varying stages of their lives.

Karen's unique voice and warm, soulful style, lends itself well to her expressive lyrics. Catch her performances throughout Southeastern Massachuetts at local establishments, festivals, and coffee houses.

From her recordings, to live performances, to winning The Dessert Club Singer/Songwriter Contest (2004), to her participation in "The Vital Women" Project, Karen has continued to pursue her love of music, writing, and performing. Her newest recordings showcase the talents of Claudia Neault, Chip Neault, Mike Moran, and Mike Higgins.
