>Karen Tripp began her musical journey with good friends and a little wine, on a front porch one summer night. The inspiration of creating music and the positive energy of self-expression and laughter led to open mics and coffee houses a short time later.

Making her dream become a reality began with nursing co-worker and friend Linda Thieverge, where the two developed their talents while sharing the healing power of music by performing for patients at a local hospital. Dubbed "Acoustic Tripp", the adventure grew for five years and also included Slim Cedrone on harmonica.

The winner of the 2004 Dessert Club Singer/Songwriter Competition, Karen continues writing new material, worked with the talents of Claudia Neault, Chip Neault, Mike Moran, and Mike Higgins on several songs, all recorded at Zone Recording Studios in Taunton, MA (USA). Karen is surely one of the performers you will want to mark on your calendar.
